BELLING BRITE ZINC SPRAY is a unique high-solid-content compound used for the cold galvanising of steel to provide long term protection indoors and outdoors. It contains a blend of zinc and resin in a solvent carrier. Upon drying the resulting film adheres strongly to the metal substrate and acts as the sacrificial component to prevent the formation of iron oxide. BELLING BRITE ZINC SPRAY dries into a fine, high-adhesion film giving it a metallic, attractive finish. The metallic appearance more closely resembles the original colour of steel and hot dip galvanising compared to traditional zinc rich primers.
APPLICATION
BRITE ZINC is used on all steel structures, machinery, equipment and tools which require protection from corrosion or are exposed to high humidity and water. It is most useful for cosmetic purposes where a bright metallic appearance is most desirable to the equipment owner with the added benefit of corrosion protection. Some examples of areas of applications are water pumps and piping, storage tanks, walkways, platforms and railings, staircases, gates, roofs, girders and trusses, furniture, cranes and tractors, ship, buses and lorries, electrical pylons and poles, road barriers, air conditioning systems, motors, scaffolding and fencing.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Clean surface to be treated by brushing or wiping off loose debris, rust and old paint with wire brush or sand paper. Clean off oil and grease with a solvent-based degreaser such as HD-1 Cleaner. For critical applications sand-blast or use chemical rust removers. Apply BRITE ZINC by spraying in a controlled manner. When spraying ensure that contents are mixed well and spray in a controlled sweeping motion to produce a thin and even film. Apply subsequent layers to build up film thickness after the previous ones have dried. Multiple thinly applied layers provide more even protection than a single thick one.
